If you're curious about something specific -- or you just want to know more about Blind Mice and don't feel like sending an email (no judgement, I get it), you can learn more here.
I'm pretty good at a number of disciplines in the designer world, but I have the most experience and comfortability with stylish, 2-D animation. Title animations, sports packaging, show packaging, lower thirds, pop-ups, transitions -- if it moves, I can make it move cooler.
I LOVE poster design -- though I don't get to do it as often as I'd like.
I absolutely offer editorial services, though for larger-scale projects, I would refer to you to a very talented editor friend of mine.
If by "design websites" you mean, "know how to navigate GoDaddy" -- then yes. I can click those pre-designed settings with the best of 'em. If you're asking whether or not I can write code -- then that's a hard no. I have a brilliant brother who does that, but my brain is strictly visual.
I use Adobe After Effects almost 100% of the time, with support from applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, GarageBand, and more.
Aw, that's so nice, person-who-wrote-these-questions, I actually do have some limits. I'm not a 3D specialist. If you're looking for complex, cinematic CGI, I can only help you so far. I also do not handle coding, although I'm learning more as I go. Bottom line -- I'll always be up front with you about my capabilities, and I'm a good problem-solver.
Don Draper
In a manner of speaking, yes. In the way you're probably thinking: no, not quite yet. I have worked as a Showrunner's Assistant on two professional shows, and am working hard to earn my spot as a staff writer. In the meantime, I have written a number of personal projects (you can see some of them in the "Writing" section of this site) and I also volunteer in a college-level TV development program, taught by Marion Dayre (Better Call Saul, Shantaram, The Act), where I honestly feel like I learn more than I contribute.
I mainly focus on writing / developing 1-hour TV dramas (like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, or Severance.) I've written some feature films, and have dabbled in half-hour comedies as well.
Better Call Saul is, hands down, my favorite TV show. I would also happily watch any Michael Schur comedy, like Parks & Rec or The Office, anytime, anywhere.

I collaborate most often with Ballast in a principle designer capacity and have done so off-and-on for the entirety of my career. Clients we've worked with range from NFL Network, to FOX Sports, to NBC Universal, to CBS Paramount, and many many more. We provided animations for a Smithsonian installation from NASA, and if you remember the CBS crime show "Numb3rs" from back in the day -- we did the graphics for it.
I've worked for Microsoft, Epson, Esquire Network, E! Network, Project Greenlight, Fuel TV, G4, Broadway Unlocked, Crackle TV, and the EMMY Awards.
I have also been a Senior Creative Director for both Aspiration (an environmentally-responsible financial firm) and Revance (a biotechnology company), and have provided branding and visual effects work for dozens of sizzle reels, web series, award-winning short films, and independent feature films.
It's awesome.
No, but seriously, I try to make a collaborative process as easy and pain-free as possible. I'll always push for the best possible solution, but I won't lose sight of your parameters. In other words, you have a budget, and I get that. So being mindful of scope and scale, I try to create solutions that make it look like you spent more than you did. That's a win-win in my book.
Batman
Atlanta, GA
That's a weird question. But my wife Cristen and I live in a house in Atlanta, where we mostly busy ourselves with work and caring for our three dogs like they are our human children. Stevie is 10 (and has seniority), Cookie is 11 (and is chubby), and Sammy is 15 (he's blind, deaf, and just happy to be here). I work remotely, which means I can work flexible hours, and I love to cook. I don't cook "Fancy" -- I just like making simple food, really, really well.
I collect playing cards, which is a little unusual, I guess, but I got into sleight-of-hand magic during the 2020 quarantine (... it was a weird time for all of-- hey where are you going??) and I grew to appreciate the vast variety of interesting cards available. Currently, I have about 150 decks...
I love finding new restaurants, I love to travel, and I mentioned elsewhere that I love to cook... I'm also unapologetically drawn to those YouTube videos where people renovate houses, or build things from scratch. Is that a hobby?
I don't know how you're supposed to pick between those. Right now? .... Pizza. No, tacos... Pizza tacos. "Picos"? I don't know, I'm just hungry.
If you're looking to enhance your project with next-level brand design, please reach out. I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can.
